Simon qualified with a first class honours degree in 2005 and has since divided his career between professional sport, private practice and the NHS. As Lead Physiotherapist at Yeovil Town Football Club, he was responsible for injury prevention and treatment right the way through to returning to play. In his current NHS role, he is a clinical specialist that works closely with the orthopaedic team.
He specialises in sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions in all areas of the body. An avid research enthusiast, he stays up to date with the ever-emerging evidence base in order to deliver the most effective treatment at the right time in recovery.
Aside from work, he is a regular runner and has competed in a wide range of events from 5km up to the 100 mile distance. He is a qualified running coach affiliated with UK Athletics and combines coaching, technique analysis and rehab in his approach to the management of injury.
